Wolfe Update

Well, Graham is officially a big boy. At his 4 month check-up last month he was over 17lbs and 26 inches long. That put him in the 90th percentile for both. He is now tipping the scales at nearly 18.5lbs. I am sure if they did a measurement for feet he would be in the 100th percentile. As soon as we find our cord for our camera I will download the picture of Graham and Travis watching UFC. I always said that if I were going to have a boy I wanted all boy and that is what I got.

Fatal System Error

Sorry for the long delay between posts, we've had some computer issues. Here are the latest pics of Graham. He's really long and heavy like a sack of potatoes.

Isn't this foot abnormally large?

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa

Graham wasn't wild about matching outfits.

The Official End

Monday marked the final end of my pregnancy with my six week follow-up.
When I had Graham they sent my placenta off to be tested. I got the results and found out that there was an infection surrounding him. I had no idea how serious it was. The doctor told me if they would have waited and sent me home or induced me he could have ended up with cerebral palsy.
Ever since I had the c-section I have had mixed emotions but after Monday I was very thankful that it was performed. On the way home all I could think or say to God was "thank you."
I don't think that it just happened that my doctor was on call that Sunday when I delivered and I am very thankful that he didn't take any chances and went ahead and delivered Graham.
So with that being said pregnancy was filled with all kind of excitement: extreme morning sickness lasting for 24 weeks, a low-lying placenta, borderline gestational diabetes and an infection. But everything worked out fine and I would go through it all again just to have my Buddy Bear.

Allow me

We've encouraged Graham to help himself to a bottle (especially at 4am).

Here he is! Graham Jarrett Wolfe

On Sunday the 15th Lesley was fighting a fever so we headed to the hospital and found that the fever was a result of some kind of infection. The doctor feared the infection would affect the little guy so the decision was made to perform an emergency c-section. The whole process from decision to Graham was about 45 minutes. Fortunately, mother and baby are healthy and free from any infection. The doctor felt the infection could have been in the placenta and was passed during labor. Needless to say, we are overjoyed by our healthy baby.

Miss Addison Anne Hayes

While becoming an uncle I had an idea. I thought it would be fun to create a blog around our upcoming baby boy Graham so family and friends can share in some of our stories and pictures.
I hope you enjoy.
